Just Before Dark ('Tess') is a black bay filly (she has now shed her foal coat out to a deep velvet black) who is truly something special - tall, elegant and leggy, refinement with excellent bone, incredibly well-balanced conformation with straight legs and a topline to die for, movement to match her spectacular looks and a superb temperament: brave, bold and fearless, combined with sweet, loving and in-your-pocket. 'Tess' is one of those foals who carries themselves like royalty, and it takes our breath away to watch her. Considering her extreme legginess, conformation and size, we expect Tess to be tall (her dam-sire was 17.2+). This filly has serious potential as a dressage or jumper superstar, and is definitely in the league of our German imports.
