All That Glitters - SOLD 2006 Black or Black Bay Dutch x Hanoverian Colt     ALL THAT GLITTERS is one of the most beautiful warmblood colts we've ever seen. Possessed of an unbelievable presence from the moment he first stood up, black with a perfect half-moon star, excellent bone, refined features--and superb conformation: arrow-straight legs, a fabulous natural topline, beautiful features and exceptional overall balance. And to top it all off, he has gorgeous movement. Glitters was born 4/5/06. At eight weeks he is wonderfully friendly, outgoing, bold and curious about everything. He loves people and will follow you anywhere in the hopes of a few extra itching-sessions or pats. His 'trainability' is obviously on par with that of his dam and sire: he's intelligent, willing, and VERY easy to handle. All That Glitter's dam, Autobahn, has exceptional conformation and movement herself, and has produced five extraordinary foals, including AWS Inspection and and USDF National Gold and Silver In-Hand champions by our previous Hanoverian/Thbd stallion High Kick. Her last two foals by our Dutch stallion Juss For The Taste have been equally impressive. The first, Audacious, is now standing at stud at Gallant Farms in Utah. The second, last year's'05 black filly, AUdienz, we consider to be of priceless quality, and we've kept her for ourselves,to be competed in upper level dressage as well as on the Hunter/Jumper circuit when she reaches maturity. Autobahn is by the imported Hanoverian stallion Almaden, Reserve Champion of the 1987 Hundred Day Stallion Testing, who recieved the extraordinary score of 133.24: among the top best 2% of all the Hanoverian stallions ever tested. Almaden went on to compete successfully, winning on the A circuit in both jumpers AND dressage. Sadly, Almaden passed away this winter. We are very proud to continue his line in our own mares, and are never less than awed by the extraordinary quality of his descendants, including our newest and youngest, All That Glitters. All That Glitter's sire, our own imported Dutch breeding stallion Juss For The Taste, by the legendary Samber, is himself a truly exceptional horse. Suspension, huge extensions, an innate ability for collection, and superior jumping scope--Juss has the easy abilty to lope down to 6' ft oxers, and the sweetness of temperament to be handled and ridden by any age or experience level of rider, including children. Our last few foals by Juss have included Atlas, AWS Inspection Silver Medalist and National Year End 4th place ranking for all yearling colts; Iridescent, AWS Inspection Champion, Gold Medal winner rated Supreme; Trooping the Colours, Inspection Bronze Medalist; Another Clark Gable, Inspection Silver Medalist-and the list goes on.
