Cyrus






Cyrus is a tall elegant and incredibly powerful 17.1+ 6 year old rose grey gelding that we imported from Germany in 2004. He has the best jumper line breeding available in Europe: his sire Coriano (Corrado I-Cor de la Bryere) is the leading sire of showjumpers in the Holsteiner Verband and ranked fourth in the world. His dam Diva XIII is by Latus II the top performance jumping sire by the legendary Landgraf. CYRUS has the ultimate talent and temperment of this line.



He was started as a five year old, and at the time of sale as a six year old, was jumping 4 foot courses with ease and schooling 5' gymnastics effortlessly. He is extremely uncomplicated to ride-willing, always cheerful, and a delight to train and handle.


CYRUS is a serious Grand Prix level jumper prospect. He has speed, never touches the fences, and is superbly tight and careful with his hind end. He has the ultimate amateur owner jumper temprament: very easy on the flat and to the fences calm but with a big engine and all that combined with a puppy-dog personality. This horse has the talent to go to the absolute top of the sport and has already begun his career as a top contender in Level IV and V Jumpers.
