Atlas
 Congratulations to Sarah Elkind and the Elkind family of Oregon on their purchase of Atlas. We expect that Sarah, a young rider of great talent and heart, and Atlas, a young stallion with tremendous potential, will be an unbeatable combination in the years ahead. Archer's Horses and the entire Ahl family wish to express our gratitude to Sarah and the Elkinds for the deep affection and commitment which they have already shown toward Atlas and his future. THANKYOU! -Caitlin and Hans-Peter Ahl  ATLAS is by the 16.2 imported Dutch stallion Juss For The Taste (Samber/Alia) out of the 16.1 Dutch mare Jewell ('Jasper'-line).  ATLAS is a large boned, extremely well balanced horse with FANTASTIC natural movement-float, suspension, and lighter-than-air extensions. Has the movement to be a Grand Prix prospect for the serious dressage rider, and shows the same extraordinary talent free-jumping. Absolutely a '10' temperament-sensitive, calm, forward, sensible, and VERY sweet. No vices. Very easy to handle and superbly easy to train.  ATLAS was Silver Medalist at his AWS inspection and ranked 4th Nationally in '02 for all yearling colts.   Atlas, first crossrail, and jumping five feet. |
